Too bad, I'll be riding the Penguins event with a few hard core D-37 DS friends and the Glen Helen Ride for kids too.

I dry camped in Carrizo last April and had a great time. No noisy neighbors so the only thing I heard all night were coyotes and cows.

Trying to kickstart Bob's (John's) XR gave me a new appreciation for the magic button!

Duy, it is all technique. Kick to TDC, then slight kick more, then one good kick and she lights off (after you put the pumper on).

Sounds like a salesman I'll take the button any day (but I must admit I wish I had a kicker as an option)

Actually feeling pretty good. I'm about 7 weeks post op, and the thing still aches a bit which I think is odd. (could be cold weather + metal I guess) But since I was moving away the doc was pretty generous with happy-pills so... I'm happy.

I can lift the arm about straight out but not up at all. The move I can't do is the heil-hitler salute. (Oh, the irony of explaining this to an israeli)

I unloaded the bike day before yesterday. Oh, that poor bike. It was pretty funny, I had the front brake pretty well, but when it hit the ramp the front tire started sliding in full lock and as I went down the steps the arm went up and up and right about mid-way I had to just let it go and get out of the way. Poor, Poor bike fell right off the ramp and onto the pavement. Too early for ramps I guess. I should-a found a hill.

I'd actually like to ride a little because I think it would actually help stretch the arm, but it's rained non-stop since I've been here. On the plus side though my job is going awesome, so hopefully I will be able to do a nice ride up to Canada sometime this summer. Next winter I hope to return to LA for a bit and show you guys how to ride Dunerat, Javier, and Nowwhat are on my hit list. I'm gonna be a MX superstar in a month or two, just you wait n see. (I did mention I'm on a lot of pills, didn't I? Luckily because of my superhuman moto skills there are no side effects. )
