Texas canyon (rowher flats) the day before it burned was the first time I rode with Joel and no matter what Nowwhat and Artboy say we had nothing to do with that fire.

There is somewhere I want to ride. I've used Rowher as a test ground for the Jeep since the fab shop is only a few miles away.

yes mark, and i still remember, you and sito were there. shoco was the organizer (thanks mike). it was a nOObs ride, and you had the x-challenge with the saharas which made me believe it was an easy ride, i crashed twice, shoco lost his windscreen after a crash. sito had the 950...and i said to myself....wtf that's one big bike, i hope this guy knows how to ride ....and ever since never saw sito dropped his.

thanks again to all you FFs for the support, wonderful experience, encouragement, and passing your skills to us nOObs!

sito was right, he helped me picked up my 640a and xr400 so many times maybe more than 20x for the last 12 months

looking forward to more good rides for the many years to come.

You gotta live with it until someone else does something more spectacular.

That bus thing is going to be a hard one to top.

Hello all

- I'm looking for riding comrades in LA and I think i found the right place!

I live up near BigT and i understand there's a group of you riding up in my area pretty much every weekend - i've probably seen you go by!

My baby is getting her 600 mi service this weekend - I am FINALLY ready to open'er up and explore!!

What's standard procedure for the Sat Sun rides? Pack a lunch?
Any suggestions for a first time tagalong?

WELCOME WELCOME!
saturday rides are also known as "LA weekend rides"(the one we are on) which Joel aka H8CHAINS leads, i, charles aka RAZR lead the sunday church rides(LA) .
we ride similar territory, he's more popular so he gets the crowd and the ladies on his rides, me, let's just say its more low key.
100 -130 miles is what to expect from door to door.
there are nOObs and ex-racers but everyone has a blast and we wait for the not so fast and help fix flats and busted side covers.
lunch is generally at Newcomb's or Hidden Springs Cafe( i prefer the latter ) and the rides can be over by 1PM to as late as 5PM and start at 7AM or 8AM.
check this thread for upcoming rides!
this friday night is the FULL MOON RIDE.
