Grand Canyon North Rim

north rim ride may 27th to 31st.

if you're still on the fence...decide soon.

the plan is to drive up to mesquite friday. overnight stay in motel.

saturday morning ride to north rim.

we will have a support truck carrying provisions, such as fuel, food, drinks, and camping gear. 1 small duffle bag for each rider.

sunday and monday - explore the area and enjoy the sights

we will be sleeping under the stars from sat night to monday night.

tuesday - ride back to mesquite and truck home.

please post up if you're coming.

74F in Claremont, balmy winds coming from the Pacific Ocean. What is this 'weather' thing you speak of?

Hi Duy.

We already have 2 bikes on the truck bed. I can pull a trailer but the truck has a regular cab. We need the available space on the bed for 20 gals of gas, 15 gals of water, 1 or 2 coolers, and camping equipment.

This is suppose to be riding from home but because of the fuel and water issues and 4 days in the north rim, we have to bring a support vehicle.

Ride the KLR and put all the gear on the truck. If you get tired or bored, jump on the truck and 1 of us can ride the barbie bike.

Shit, if we're taking all day Friday to get to Mesquite and getting a room, we can do the ride thing. I'll have to pack the bike to get to Burbank anyway. How many rail is your trailer? I can understand you don't want to leave that trailer in Mesquite. My trailer is up in Frasier Park, we can take that piece of shit if you want.

.

2 rails only and duy pulled out his post which means he's no go.

if you want to bring your pos trailer, and leave it in mesquite chained to a light post that's good enough. it's about 7-8 hours to mesquite.

i assume you're taking the 950.

1 more inmate coming and riding from home.
