If anyone lend me a soft case I'll be glad to take stuff on my 990.
And I'll have my gps. You can send the route to me.

I'll be leaving from Yorbalinda on Saturday morning. Danny, John, where do you wanna meet???

a med size duffel bag and bungees should be enough. i'll bring them for ya.

been raining here in burbank since about 4am, ground is already soaked....nice!

to do big bike ride it will be over 400 miles... can be done just not this sat, have to be home by 6pm (dinner plans). so at this point i'm thinking driving the truck with the 530, do the ride (partially) get back to the truck at 330pm and drive home. my other option just to stay home and go kayaking

It will open eventually, just need to be patient.

Already have plans for this w/e.

Sat, I'm heading to Nukes early for breakfast, then taking ACH to WW and onto BB. I'm taking a noob work buddy for a nice long ride to get some seat time for him in the dirt.

Sun, need to take my Vette for a drive!

Next w/e, I'll most likely hit Gorman/LPNF and blast around on my WR250.

ride down to piutes to jawbone to dove springs. those on big bikes can head home from jawbone. planning to be back to the truck by 5pm.

anyone who bringing a gps. i can make a route, email me at jpaez@bcas.com.

so far there are about 14 PPs coming, including those who PMd me.

there will be plenty of cold drinks in the cooler, help yourself. i need someone to carry the chips, bread and cold cuts.

still the plan.

I'll be hitting Gorman with a few friends next Sat, 6/25.

The forest service just opened up the campgrounds and hiking trails, so it's just a matter of time before the fire roads are opened.

I'll ask a ranger the next time I'm up there (tomorrow).

Back to tomorrow's ride.

you need 90 miles r.t. fuel range from staging area (dove springs and l.a. aquaduct)

McDs to the Dove Springs Staging Area is about 31 miles.

From Dove Springs Rd (off the 14) to Dove Springs Staging Area is about 3-4 miles.

If you're coming and need the routes and waypoints, email me at iwasedsel@yahoo.com.

Looks like I'm out tomorrow.

This upper respiratory bug just doesn't want to quit. I don't think 14 bikes worth of dust would be too good for my lungs right now.

A balaclava will act as an air filter; I always wear one when I ride to keep crap out of my sinuses.

I use this Walgreens product for nasty UR bugs, it always does the trick for me!

.

I use the vast quantities of Bourbon trick. Ride hard all day, drink bourbon all night. Next day I never notice my lungs being plugged up.
