TIM. Not the stroking arm. Heal quick bro. You need to heel up for the LAB2V ride. Ben

from cayucos, we took old creek rd (above hw1), it's pavement, but very nice and lots of twisties. the traffic was a little heavy for being a backroad. jim mentioned that it is a shortcut for those trying to get to hw46.

santa rosa creek road was closed if you plan of driving up there, call the district ahead of time

hanging out just above cambria

good thing school is out, otherwise the kids will think it's halloween.....

the little town of cambria; i love that orange vw van. back in the days we call it a combi.

we stayed at "sands-by-the-sea". it is the best value in san simeon. reasonable rate, clean, great location, and has friendly staff; instead off booking through the web, call them direct and with aaa membership, you'll save $10 each night. the answer is NO...i did not use my senior citizen discount since i'm NOT....

here's rruugger all clean and smelling good. sorry, no story behind that comment....

our rooms just right in front of the bikes

ersin chose to park away from the hooligans

just a little walk around the building, you will be greeted by this...

"the view"

next door is this restaurant. my seafood dinner was good but those who had the steaks, they have different opinions.

more coming later!

though there were slow moving motorhomes and rv, all of them pull over to the side whenever there's an opportunity

lots of this

there's a gas station at ragged point

nice

another gas station here....gorda? (not sure) and expect to pay a dollar more per gallon

i live in the valley (desert), and to see the ocean is a blessing

i entrusted jim to be the ride leader. here, he's consulting his $$$ gps, and the only dirt he found was the shoulder....

thanks to randal (r3r3r), his track took us to the right spot. meantime, we met ersin coming down from the hill

this road is perfect for the big bikes

cathy looking good.

i'm impressed with those LEDs

looking at the pacific ocean and coastal fog

jim makes a good pr man and get along well with the s & r crew; all they talked about was jim's helmet...really...

wait a minute, i see ms. teapot....

the search and rescue command post

a brush fire northeast of us; i hope it got contained.

great to have good company

2 up and no problem

easy hill climb

g still looking relaxed

Any time, Joel I'm just glad to have had a chance to return one of the many favors that you do for everyone.

I'm enjoying the pics, it looks like everyone had a great time!
