Bike won't even make it up the trailer ramp w/ the emissions stuff on it.
I'll fix that tonight.
Also got a JD programmer.

Congrats!

Watch out for the stock clutch cable and chain!

The clutch cable is known for breaking, as is the chain!

I bought a Barnett clutch cable for my old '07 610SM and the chain broke on me at less than 7K miles on the freeway!

Luckily, it didn't wrap around my rear sprocket, it wrapped around the CS sprocket and I pulled in the clutch and coasted off the freeway onto the shoulder roughly 100 yards from an off ramp! That scared the SH*T out of me!

Mike, will be doing a slow break in and getting all the bugs worked out for a while. Money is pretty tight right now.
I also need to put some effort into selling Brokeback.

While I won't be able to pick up my race pace w/ this bike, I'm happy to be taking a step back in the right direction.

How is it that you FF's can take Fridays off?

I rode the KLR for the first time in a few weeks and compared to the 990, it's totally gutless!

Anyone interested in running up to Yosemite this weekend? It'll be a quick trip leaving Saturday morning and coming home Sunday but it's all the time I've got.

Road ride since I've got to cover serious miles. LMK.
