Joel, I'm glad your little sack held up. There's a joke somewhere.

We have to do CNF one of these weekends. I did it yesterday from Maple Springs to Hells Kitchen and back and it was quite a bit further than I thought. I was exhausted when I got home. That would make a good day's ride.

the weather was perfect, no hotter than 80F while riding daytime, the evening was in the 50s. the wind didn't start blowing hard until we were in the comfort of our tents.

the bivy sack that i have has 2 toppings over the head area, a see-uhm net and the shell.

john, can't wait to see your 630 set up with camping gear.

hi eric, i haven't done cnf, and have been keeping an eye on the thread. good to see most of the gates are now open and you guys have a convenient thumping ground.

no joke on the bivy sack, john thinks the fabric does not breath and traps all the foul air inside. the good is it is small it will fit inside your mansion, and still i could sleep along side your gsa.....

yes mike, they're all the same. stock oem handguards. orange is ok too. i like those plastic ones, they deflect and less damage to the bar, except it doesn't protect the levers very well.

and thanks for looking.
