I end up in the right area but on a deep sandy curvy ATV trail in a wash some where near the canal and west end of the Bradsaw trail torturing my self and my 69 yo father doing what 500lb dirt bikes should not do. I stop to drink a gallon of water and say a few choice words to myself for ending up here. I hear some bikes coming up behind us and this guy in a Rhino or something similar stops next to me and says "YOU bailed on me last weekend" I'm thinking to myself, who is this Jackwagon? I say something like "not me, you got the wrong guy" He says
"I'm DannyG" Me says "Really?" You're right then, I did bail on you last weekend. What are the chances of seeing that guy in one of a hundred sand washes the don't really lead to where I'm trying to go on a ride I planned the night before and was actually a little lost at that moment. He rides off with his kids and I paddle my pig with nearly knobless knobby tires a couple miles through the soft sugary sand to the canal/road and decide to head back to my hotel in Rancho Mirage for food/beer/hot tub.
Now were talking, flying down the dirt road towards FOOD! Ride faster! My steering feels a little funny, Hmmm, a little funnier, Hmmmmmm, Feels shitty. Fudge. I hope that Jackwagon doesn't come by again and see me fixing my tire on this dirt road that any car could cruise down, oh wait a Camry full of old folks just rolled past my road side tire repair

cat, that's one good story....what's the chances 2 sailors running on to each other on a sandy road out in the desert.....

dang that jackW, he's been riding 3 weekends in a row.

Xmas party

6 more days

all 43 attendees confirmed!

the gift exchange ($20 value) is optional for your significant other and those got hit by the tough economy.

please bring a gift that can be used by both sex and one size fits all.....haha, i know what you're thinking.

a chest protector is a great and $$$ gift...if it goes to the right person

we'll do our traditional gift exchange in a different way. your number get called, you pick any gift and it's yours. no more hijacking, takes the fun out of it but being in the restaurant, the evening will be short.

from the extra $5 you gave and a good portion from last year's xmas party fund, i was able to get prizes for the big raffle.....

Have a safe ride home Tex. When are you coming back? You know it won't be 80 degrees in Iowa or wherever the hell you're going to in Siberia

Good riding with you
