Just looking for a smart guy/gal to pay to fix my mess.
Del C: *.* will do the trick.

Wipedisk will work also but not as well.

I wish I could help, but I am a hamfisted kind of guy.

What is the general nature of the problem, maybe get some collective input.

Upgraded the video card, which I have successfully done in the past.
Computer started up, did it's thing real slow, then called for a re-start. Can't get Windows to start now.

Don't want Joel to Judo chop me for fouling the thread. Just thought I'd throw a hail Mary here.

Sounds like your video card is not compatible with your mother board. Try to put your old VC back in and see if it works. If it does, get a new and compatible VC card.
If not go to Plan B.
And don't worry about Joel. He is in San Felipe right now probably taking millions of pics. :)

Shut the computer down, when you restart it, just keep pressing F8 until the boot options come up, start windows in VGA mode, or if you're running Vista/Win7 start it in safe mode.

Uninstall your video drivers - you possibly got the wrong version installed which is what's crashing it. If that doesn't fix it, shoot me a PM, I'll try and help you out more.

I remember that DR from the DV n00bs ride a couple of years ago, you had just bought it and towed it into PSR. Glad to see you are still enjoying it!
Yep, still loving it, it served me well on the continental divide ride. I'm acutally looking to sell some of my bikes and pick up a F800GS, but I'd still keep the DR for sure. It's my zombie apocalypse bike.

Happy New Year, Joel! If I were home I'd buy you guys a cup of coffee on the way back. Did you run into the MOTOSOTO crew in San Felipe?
