There was some snow/ice patches under the shades here and there but no prob for an experienced/professional rider like myself. Meaning I didn't fall at all...
And the views were much better than the other side. I loved the weather....

On our way down we met 3 GS riders lost in the wilderness. One was working at Riverside BMW and invited us for a test ride sometime. Obviously he didnt know that I am an anti-GS guy. But on the other hand, I may give it a shot. He also gave us his business card but I forgot it at home in my riding jacket.
They were trying to get to Hell's Kitchen as well so Rich gave them directions. They pulled in after 20 mins we got there and we were still waiting for the waitress. I have to say that serviced sucked over there. There was hardly any customers but it took us 30 minutes just to order food, and we were starving. At one point I thought they only serve Harley riders and I asked Rich to show his tattoos since I dont have any.
Anyways, it was our first time there so maybe they didn't recognize us. Hopefully we will get better service next time.
That's it. See you guys on next Sunday for my anniversary...
nice rr ersin.

i've never done cnf and and ate at hk, would like to do it sometime,

Us OC guys would gladly lead a CNF ride (big bike of course) for alll you LA guys. Between me, Gerd and Fudgy, we should be able to get a good ride together.

Looking forward to Sunday's ride.

CNF is nice but sometimes too crowded with 4-wheelers on weekends. Also there are too many hikers, mountain bikers, and even sedan drivers.

Nope, Cleghorn for FYYFF Anniversary ride. I'll be on the GS, so bring the tanker, I'll sweep.

All true, that's why I am finding the ride out to the desert not such a long ride anymore.

One thing I've learned from NMBMN without even meeting him is go ride the desert.
