This is a great ride for those doing the Baja Ride in December. We will begin our ride at the 15/138 intersection and only touch asphalt for gas.

If you want to do this ride, speak by Wednesday, or forever hold your peace. We have a great guy (Kenny, non MC rider) who will be driving up earlier in the week and reserving Russell Camp for us. We need to get your alcohol order in place so he can purchase it and haul it up for us in his Jeep.

Right now the list is as follows:

Trailtrick
Dunerat
DannyG
Herrhelmet
Me (Notmybikemodelname)

We can take three more if you want a good sleeping space. Any more and you're pitching a tent.

That would be about it, other than the regular tools, water, and maybe some food just in case we get stuck or broke down somewhere.

Who told?

Most likely Pacifico will remain closed till next season, May 15th, 2009!

I'm glad we got our fair share of riding it, having a personal experience with the fallen tree , and enjoying lunch at Newcombs!

Future route will most likely SCD, BPL, 4N24, Hidden Springs, and Lynx (optional)!

Thought I would post up a few pics Rich Oliver's Mystery School....pictures are courtesy of Rich's wife....

You can show up to the school without a single piece of equipment...this is what we should have done....BUT...they don't have pressure suits...and man I love pressure suits.... ....here you can see Gary (good rider...old school) looking at the suits and asking..."what the hell you boys wearing?"...a rider later in the day high sided...that roost proctor didn't help...he was done for the day....

The idiots line up....86d4life on the right....me on the left....rules....we don't need no stikin rules...

\

After some track time...Rich explains to us about safe passing distances...you must give the other rider at least this much room.....didn't happen...

When you aren't on the track...you spend most of your time lauging your ass off at others....

The secret to my success....note my starting line technique....bike #8....just a bit over the line.....

It works though...... puliing out of the 2nd turn...

Racing....

86d4life hates mud when he is on his 990A...but on the loaner...we couldn't keep him outta it....

Never thought a small bike could make me laugh so hard inside my helmet...

I'll be gone for the next couple weekends. New Mexico with the Wife, but I do get to rent a dual sport for 2 of the days! I'll scout Santa Fe out for one of our weekend rides

How'd the cage matches go? Guess if you are ready to ride you didn't get roughed up too bad.
