As to the school pics...I can't express enough how much we laughed...seriously...all day long laughter...

WT....there were some issues with my division (Heavyweight) so I ended up fighting Super Heavyweight....ouch....came home with the silver medal though......got knocked silly in the finals....don't remember about a minute of my life....

DV is so nice that riding fast without enjoying the view is a crime!

Those who's riding and coming from LA, the plan is to meet at:

NOV. 7 @ 6:30AM at Roxford, gas up and have breakfast at Denny's
If you have camping equipment you don't want to carry, contact KLRWoody, he has room on his truck, but the capacity is limited.

Around 11:00AM, meet some riders coming from Stovepipe in Ballarat and do Goler/Mengel/Loop back to Stovepipe stopping at Furnace Creek for gas.

If you don't want to do Mengel, and prefer to head straight to Stovepipe, breakaway from the group in Ballarat, and take the easy dirt road towards Wild Rose.

Please let us know if you're IN so we can wait for you just in case you're running late.

Around Wrightwood:

(I was the guy with the Yellow and White DRZ, looking at his GPS). Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, I eventually made it home. Looking forward to getting out on a ride with everyone sometime.

I started riding dirt bikes when I was 10ish, and riding street bikes off and on for about 8 years, but I have only been on a DS for a few weeks. I've been going to school, moving, starting a new job lately, so my riding time has been minimal. Looking forward to getting out a lot more, I'm kind of rusty.

Most of the dirts roads we do are easy with some medium to tough....I think you will be ok on most of the routes.

Just watch this thread as the weekend comes closer. There's a very good chance the group will be riding.

Hope to see you soon.
