Hey folks,

Great riding with you! I haven't been into the ANF in a couple years, nice to get back.

I did go out solo on Sunday to Clegorn Rd, Silverwood, the Pinnacles area, T6 Bridge, Barley Flats, Holcolm Valley, Fawnskin, then back to the truck via mostly pavement and a more direct route on the dirt of 173. 120 total miles and 60' after loading the bike I was presenting to a triathlon club in Chino for the complete TWG experience .

AWESOME riding out there, with about gillion hills like this:

I took the twisty 2-track stuff from Pinnacles to the T6 bridge and had fun coasting much of it with the engine off, etc. Lots of low speed, technical stuff, good fun.

I'm on the road every weekend in Nov (am doing DV, however) but maybe I can put something together out there for December, if the snow cooperates.

nOOb DV Ride Up and Trailer Home

attention: sito, rruugger, rebarman, spafxer, and stucazzo!

as previously planned, we will meet at Denny's at Roxford (off the 5FW) at 6:30 AM and after breakfast ride to Ballarat and head over to DV via Goler and Mengel.

i still plan to ride as well as rruugger, rebarman, and stucazzo. sito and spafxer are now thinking of trailering.

better let you guys know now.......that on sunday (this is going to be interesting)....we will be too tired to do the 3 hour ride home.

my plan is to get a ride from sopascat IF you guys don't mind! spafxer and sito have a space on their trailers. I have a Kendon trailer that can take 3 bikes which cathy can use! among the 3 of them, we will be ok.

i think, it will be easier for us to ride up and trailer on the way home.....any comment? the sooner we hear from you, the easier for the trailering kings and queen to commit themselves to us.....

Hey Joel, As of now I'm planning on riding up and back, but I have some minor concerns with my clutch, so the possibility of a trailer being available for the ride back is a plus. See you guys on friday

Slow n00b saying Hi! :-)

Hey all, just wanted to drop by and say "Hi!"

I'm kinda new here altho I've been lurking for a while, enjoying everyone's posts and pictures! Saw that you guys are doing weekend rides and the thought of tagging along has crossed me mind. :-)

I actually know qwiksilver and was suprised to see her in the pictures! Last I knew of her she was riding a Zuma 50cc scooter! Looks like we both caught the same DualSport bug as I bought an XT 225 Serow in April.

I've been goofing around on dirt roads every now and then up on Angeles Forest (a little bit of Santa Clara Devide, Lynx Gulch, and some other little roads on Angeles Crest).

I would love to ride with you guys some time - I just must warn you, I'm a total n00b and I drive like grandpa... somehow I've managed to not dump the bike (came close a few times - damned soft sand!), even tho I came close to sliding off a cliff on Lynx. heh

-Sergio :-)

I was just about to amend that to "Look what my daughter brought home for mommy!"

Looks like the TW will be staying home?
