my place was built in 1923..so it got central nothing.

so I got one of these stand alone sharp 12,000 BTU units in my living room




and block the entry to the hallway with my original Return of the Jedi sheet keeps it nice and cool

Yep. The quotes are coming in at right about six grand. 3-1/2 to 4 ton AC condenser and a new gas furnace. FOCK.

I'm thinking about waiting 'till fall, maybe find somebody that's not busy and really needs work. We won't need the AC the rest of this year now that it's cooling off. Never use it 'till it gets over 90 anyway. Sonofabitch.

Cooled off nicely last night. Went in at 3am and crashed on the cal-king. It's still nicer than the tent.
