Well glad it was'nt the ride leader going off the edge. Kind of like your SCUBA instructor taking on water, not a good sign. But it is adventure riding and anything can happen. That roads not that technical, I guess it can get slick.

if that guy went up a birm and off the side of SCD, that's not the first time THAT has happened......

i rode with a noob noobie and he got the itch watching me go up and down all the birms on SCD and this is what the outcome was for him and his 2008 KLR

epic ride

epic ride on the scd yesterday just triad and i rode hard and fast traction deluxe and no rain .Changed it up ,scd to indian creek rd,into acton soledad to aliso which was being grade. It turned into a moist third and four gear feet up berm shot master trail till razors hill climb =awsome didnt think the klr had it in her, triad right on my ass all day, seems a properly jetted and uncorked brp can do wonders for confidence and speed.Up sitos trail to the payment riding right beside and behind each other with zero dust then back down the scd to little t we left 7 11 at 825 after waiting a while and got back to 7 11 at 1220 alittle tired but very happy thanks paul the best day on the valdez ever.Paul no has a very wheelie pron brp on his hands.Just two very short breaks all day .At the ranger station we meet doug on a ktm450 prepping for btov good luck.Ya'll missed it have fun in dv

R&d

Thanks to all for a serious week of R&D (rocks & dirt).

Thanks Joel for putting together Sat... and the great posting! What a treat we had for weathering the storm, literally... Dustless who knew that could happen. Oh yea and traction all over the place... Hell you could almost stop on hill climbs and start again! Nice riding with ya Frank see ya.

And thanks to who set up sunday and then no show... You missed a good one. First riding through thick clouds and then hitting clear skies and sunshine! Blazed a couple new trails (new to me anyway...) Bill thanks for the tour...

Winter - me likey.
