Trumbull Schoolhouse after high speed dirt from StG. Kept the Ironman Course Marshall sticker in the bike for a few days

Just inside the gate of Torroweap

Torroweap on a Sunday = I had the overlook to myself

Yesterday was a 2hr mtn bike ride outside Escalante in Cedar Wash, then monkey fucking a bolt on the bike rack for the better part of an hour. Left Escalante at the crack of 12:30p.

Kiva Koffee House, where the coffee is $$$ but the smelly hippy kids are free.

Hwy 12 rocks

MB'ing on tap today and maybe Gemini Bridges on the unloaded 990

Awesome looking ride there Rich.

Are those Wolfman 12 bags? Like em?
How is the riding weather now in Utah? Too hot? Any idea how hot it gets in early June?
Motoz Tractionator? Recommend?

Beautiful Rich, is your 990 a tall model. Tall by KTM standards that is. R/S suspension ?

Greetings from panguitch, over a Full Suspension Ale and ribeye :-)

Weather: if you had asked yesterday I'd say great. But today, like a dumbass I didn't check weather before choosing an elevation route via Fishlake. Fooking froze, rain, sleet and snow. Later May is better. Was thinking of coming back out mid June w wife but likely too hot in the places I'd like to show her. Anyway, I've got UT game, been coming out for years, so let know what you need.

E12: yup. Great size, WM has great modular stuff. This is my "combat load", tools, gear and such that I move from bike to bike. Right side is about empty for this trip.

Suspension: not sure :-). It's an '11 Daker so whatever that is. I told ESP to set it up 100% dirt and high speesd desert so he beefed up the shocks. I can barely touch both toes :-). Riding it unloaded on WR today was awesome. Bike just rocks.

Isaac,

I've had the 606 front on there for a while, when I swapped out the stock scorpions. Tried a mefo rear but didn't have enough loose/sandy traction for me. Put on the Tractionator for DV and really like it. Hooks up on everything, crazy tall knobs. I've got about 2200 miles on it, I'll probably keep it to about 3k or so, but I'm picky about my knobs, preferring more whenever possible and not afraid to swap, hence a 6ft stack of rubber next to my garage . Not bad for a ~$100 tire. Ersin could probably get 12k out of a rear Motoz .

That said, I don't ride faster than 80mph on pavement and don't ride sport bike aggressive in twistys. I prefer to cruise on pavement, don't care about speed. I imagine it might step out a bit if you're used to more of a street tire. And it's loud on the pavement. John Deere tractor tire loud.

I imagine I'll be 606/Motoz for the foreseeable future.

I have another Motoz set for the 'Berg if you want to try it. I think on a small bike (your's is a tweener, I guess) it's a pretty good DS setup -- the front seems to be crazy long lasting -- but not the kind of traction I like to get on the small bike.
