Any adventure bikes going? Me and my buddy want to meet up and check out these trails. I have a 990 and want to make sure the trails are not like miller jeep trail in gorman. Let me know.

I'm on a 990 and Nowwhat is on a 950. You'll be fine.

That's Camp Colby Road (3N27) just below Lynx Gulch off Upper Big Tujunga Rd (AKA Nine Mile) It goes to Camp Colby, a Methodist Church camp. Joel has some pictures of the bridge he took on the 2nd to the last Full Moon ride.

There is a locked gate after you go across that nice green bridge inside Colby, but I didn't see much of a road when I was there.

That's odd, the map I have shows the Camp Colby Rd as 3N24...

& 3N27 going starting from Big T just west of Angeles Forest Hwy & going north to Mt Gleason

What tire pressure do you guys run in the Adventure bikes? Tires say 30 front and 40 rear.

Your map is correct sopascat, at least more correct than Mapquest, or whatever that online one is from. 3N27 goes from Big T to just near the prison camp on SCD, east of Gleason a little bit. It's gated and locked. I posted on your linked thread too.

That is like asking how you like your women....but in short:

I run 30 front and Back at all times now...

this will work well if you still have the Scorps on your 990...if you run a TKC on the front...32 is as low as I would go as they have a really soft sidewall....lastly I carry a mtn bike pump with me so I can make small adjustments...if I am slabbing all the way out to Death Valley for example I will air up into the low 30's...YMMV
