I don't know for sure how the owl got in the house, but 90% sure it fell through the chimney, since there was black soot marks all over the ceilings, walls and floors where it had tried to escape the wrath of my fierce and angry Westie...
I can't believe the owl didn't kill the dog! whew! They were together for up to 5 hours without any supervision! My lady and i got home at 3:30 am to find the owl chillin' in the living room.

For the curious, here's the story with pix as i saw it...

I saw the 950 SE on my way out yesterday morning. He took the 5 and I hit the 14.
Don't know any names, but recognized the bike in the photos.

WOW! sounds like you guys had a real nice day!

I'm disappointed I didnt get to come on this trip. Gorman is my favorite place to ride! I went camping up there a few months ago. Found a real great trail on the other side of the mountian. there are also some beautiful little hick in campgrounds all over in those mountains.

Maybe if I can pull my head out of my ass and make riding a priority again we could get a los padres camping trip going.

sorry to read about all the carnage but glad to see that everyone is doing all right.

This weekend NOTHING is going to stop me from heading out. any good plans for Saturday?

hello sopasamber, good to hear you're ok, one less to worry....

i'm designing and will be building a kit to electrify my xr 400 starter. once i get it to work, i plan to build a few for some friends, no interest in marketing them. btw..joe racer stopped selling the kit, but he plans to have them sometime. i gave up calling him after he put them off for 2 - 3 months.

it might rain starting this thursday and if it does i'm riding (of course after the rain). have a contingency plan if you want to do the same.

johngilThat's me.

hey john, we would love to see you and that gs800 on one of our rides....
