Thanks to all for a great ride. Records (personal) were broken today. First official D/S ride. First ADV group ride. 126 miles logged. Did'nt biff it and hit my head. Best ride in years for me. Thanks. Again, soon I hope.

hopefully some of the younger riders can ride again...the conditions are perfect, and don't let it go to waste... i used to hate the corners but today's different...the front tire remain planted and the rear keeps on digging.

meantime, my old body needs to recuperate

don...those are nice pics and make good teasers....

ej, thanks for the tip..the 49ers is a pretty cool joint. wait until i post the pics with the blonde bartender......

Here are some of mine. Mostly group shots.

Lunch! Err... Dinner? No - Linner!

Thank you all for having me! I had a blast! Even tho it wore me out - got home fighting leg cramps. Was supposed to go somewhere after that but had to cancel. It was worth it tho!

Oh and Joel, if you still want to see my bike sleeping - this was on Oct 31st after a failed (small) hill climb:

I know you prefer taking the pic yourself - but even with my "street" tires I was able to stay on the bike during today's ride. Sorry.

Day After Thanksgiving Ride

early black friday morning, there are more bikes parked at 7-11 than at the mall.....

big t was pretty quiet...all you're going to see is just a bunch of FFs

jab and traveltoad's first ride with the us...glad to have you guys

the deer hunter.....and no animals got hurt on this ride...feelin love

angeles forest.....we love this place, just 30 mins from home

looks like i just gave away the secret meeting place

artboy, sopascat, jeff and adam

don and dan....don that's dan, dan that's don...

cathy...the sole female and our first aid responder..

one more piece of pavement and we're there..

finally at the bottom of lynx

socializing is one of the special features of our rides...not for the impatients

sognix can't wait, so he has to do what he has to do.......

another prefer the bush

sito, our trail leader , could not see a fresh track in front of him...

capnjack, don, and i beat sito and left him with some fresh ones...

the professional tracker in me senses there are 5 riders in front of me for sure

and my camera captured one behind

ben rode all the way from pomona to join us...what a guy!

some parts of lynx are parallel with the angeles forest highway

we always stop for a short break to do a head count and fix the bikes...ben's trouble getting worse

rich is still hoping dr will show up....

going down on a steep incline and the line is longer that at wall mart....

the thing i like most about lynx is has a lot of downhills, uphills, turns, switchbacks, no public maintenance, etc

just follow the power lines

that will take you to the mill creek ranger station

the sticker reminds me of previous great ride we had in kennedy meadows...sopascat and terranova

artboy, don, capnjack, klammer, and purelick

then elevator junky showed up on a bike that sounds like a tin can and making a lot of smoke....

no wonder...

artboy saying...officer he's the one, and the suspected sierra clubber says omg

i wish every rider is like jeff, waiting at the wzltech trail head so we don't go past it.......btw jeff, check with your health insurance, it should cover the surgery to remove that big lump on your back...

we fell behind, sonix yammie doesn't like the dirt littered with boulders....

we have to take the water crossing to get to sito's hill

dang noob...he won't give me the chance to get a wet yammie shot

after having so much fun riding on sitos trail...we hooked up with the FFs

and on time to see ej doing the amazing hill climb...
