2old2race and I are sharing a site, site 124, but there will be plenty of room for a site with someone. If you ride up, put your bike in my site and we will figure something out. You won't be locked out. Don't forget the catered Taco's Saturday night from my buddy Mike Vega.

I believe most campsites can have as many as 8 tents, and a number of vehicles that will fit in a 48 - 52" deep parking space!

Pablo or whoever wants to join, you should not have any problem finding a space for your tent and bike.

Calling CrazyJohn......are you coming?

Big Bear this Weekend

Most of the local FFs will be in Big Bear this weekend!

http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=297692

If you don't have tents (Artboy and Nowwhat), just show up in the morning at Serrano Camp!

I plan to ride my 640A on Friday afternoon, around 3PM so I can get there on time and get my free steak dinner from Sito! I'm thinking of taking AFH, Mount Emma, Wrightwood, and finally HW138 to Big Bear. No freeway!

Weekend Ride was in Big Bear

For those still wondering what happened last weekend, check out the link below.

http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=343057

Great to see the regulars showing up at Big Bear and it was a pleasure in meeting the other riders!

We had a great time and the weather was beautiful. In the middle of the night, the temp dropped to 40F.

For this coming weekend, anyone wants an early jab to SCD?

This will be a 640A 4 me at 7AM in front of 7-11?

Let's make it Saturday then.

Is 7:00 too early? We can make it to 7:30, easier to get up for others who might be interested.

Can any of you LA folk tell me how far away Corona is from LA? Also is someone possibly willing to take a look at a bike for me there? I found it online, but it seems like such a good deal that I feel it may be shady. I'd possibly fly out this weekend to buy it...but can't afford to pay for airfare on a wild goose chase. Any thoughts?...

If you guys don't already know, the Pacifico Road at the top of Lynx is now open for the season (barring any unforeseen closures). I rode it on the 15th. Goes from the top of Lynx out to the Chilao/Charlton Flats area on the Crest Hwy...near Newcomb's Ranch. Very nice up there.

Just a suggestion, but a good ride would be east on SCD like you were thinking and then continue out the Pacifico Road to the Crest Hwy, down the Crest to Upper Big Tujunga ("9 mile road" some call it) to the bottom of Lynx, up Lynx and then to Hidden Springs for pie.

Well I guess it's sold already. It was an '07 KTM Adventure 990 with 700 miles. The guy was only asking $8800 for it! When I called he told me that he had a guy flying in tomorrow to pick it up. Said he was getting calls from all over w/ ppl wanting to hold it for them. No kiddin! Day late and a dollar short.
Thanks for your responses.
