Just got home and hitting the shower for the party tonight...see you guys there.

The ride took a lot of casualties and carnage......

KTM side mirrors will be sold out next monday.....

Smugmug is acting up again...will post pics tonight or tomorrow.

Thanks to everyone for coming out and sharing the laughter....this ride is more like a survival training than anything else. Last bike standing award belongs to spafxr, I think....8(H

Home safe!
Fighting off leg cramps!
I swear, I'm ok after the ride, even at the restaurant I was ok - but for some reason it's the ride home that gives me leg cramps! Cold air?

Ok, now to get ready for a party, not going to Cathy's, sorry... I would, but it's also my friend's house warming party.
Next time.

Even tho the mountain kicked our asses - I had a blast! Especially watching all the big bikes hitting the ground. What entertainment!
Hope the damage was minor and no one got too hurt.

See you all next time!

Last bike standing?

Ok Ok, it was fun.. Just a few wobbles for me, never did go down

Had a great time as usual. Sorry to say Nowwhat's bike crapped out at the 405 / Rinaldi exit. He's got AAA on the way and a ride home from the shop all lined up. Acted like a fuel problem??

Can't wait to see the carnage photos..

Til next time. Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.

It didn't go exactly as planned but was it great fun. I really enjoy picking up my bike, really I do, hence the need to fall down a lot. Except its tough to get the pig upright when you're standing on ice. Thanks everyone for all the assists today.

Not sure what Joel was talking about here...

Ready for the assault on SCD

Things get interesting

then get ugly

Some minor repair work needed due to a helmut/bike collision

A fresh start at indian canyon

and the fun starts again

great pics Dale....

Well didn't make it home.....on the 405 at 65-70mph the bike simply went dead...not electrical.....I think it was fuel....killed the battery trying to restart so got to ride down the iceplant on the side of the freeway to the road below...

Eric, David and Jim hung with me until AAA showed up....(my last free tow of the year) ....took it right to the dealer as the bike just got serviced and this was the first ride on it after the major service...

KTM Santa Monica waited for me and a crew of 3 came out to the tow truck...5 minutes later they were pulling the bike apart....GREAT SERVICE.....

the guess.....guess that the fuel pump...the pump is getting power and the points are good but it does seem to be it was 6:00pm and I didn't want them to rush the job...I just left the bike there and went home....

Came home and found an extra mirror the one I lost today was Freeeeeee.....

Thanks everyone for a fun and funny day....

I was riding across a 40 foot ice patch when Dunerat passed me while Screaming....SPEED IS YOUR I sped up...after all he is coach...30 seconds later I round a corner and see Dunerat standing in the middle of the splayed out...wheels still spinning... bike parts on the ground as he is violently waving his arms in the classic SLOW DOWN gesture...Damn it man MAKE UP YOU MIND... 12 feet later my bike was going sideways all by itself...3 inch thick solid might as well just jump off at this point...instead I waited for the front tire to go left while I went right...took out my mirror, windscreen and GPS with my Head... ....when I got up I noticed Dunerat's bike slid 20 yards from where he first hit the gorund...and that 20 yards was UP HILL.....

fixed everything on the trail except for the all good...Dunerat's rear brake lever was not so lucky....think pretzel....
