My Pics

We finally gave up, and were riding back down on Indian Canyon... I was feeling a bit cocky as it was starting to look like I would escape the mountain without hitting the ground - then it happened!

I hit frozen mud (slush?) that was weak enough to give away as I was riding on the "dirt" in between the tire ruts. I got too close to one side and it collapsed under me, pulling my front tire left and the rest of the bike right - catapulting me off my bike and into the other rut.

Looks like you guys had fun. I'm out until this head cold is past the point where it might migrate to a chest cold/pneumonia.

We can do a mid or even late morning start so people can see what's under the tree. (And I can have another cup of coffee.)

bean canyon is up off 170th & backus road; above willow springs. unless you know somebody that has property to park on, dont go there.
I've always wanted to check out that area. From the sat images on google, it looks like there's trails all over that little range.

Is it BLM? All private? Meth head owned and operated?
Whats the deal?

...

Nice Pix!

Yes back in the day I went there alot, never got shot at but our group of 12 did get tickets... we were loading up when the copers came. No place to go. We all went to court together and took our bikes with us and went riding(not there) after......fun! I think back then the tickets were like $80-100 each. That place is awsome.

No wonder those KTM boys stayed late to help fix up your SE you're keepin them in biz! Super nice BIKE...now if there were just a way to ride all of them at the same time!

Now THIS would be a great loaner and it's got orange on it.
