people find out about my leg surgery (rebuilt ankle tendons), and they quickly assume that it was from riding my motorcycle/scooters... when it happened BEFORE I even started riding! Actually it was because of my surgery that I started riding - especially on scooters! The sitting position in a car would cause me a lot of pain, especially to drive. Sitting position on a scooter is comfy and did not cause me pain, plus left leg does nothing on a scooter. :-)

I'm going to have to pass... I'm just not getting rid of this damned bug! It hasn't hit me hard - but it won't go away either! Just enough to make me feel tired.

Did anybody tell you guys that a KLR is not an MX bike. Casing a double will blow the seals everytime.

A little MX trivia.

Who was the 70's MX racer from Haiwaii nicknamed the "Flyin’ Hawaiian"?

John DeSoto. He was one of my MX heros, and convinced me I should ride a CZ. I'm glad he convinced me, that thing was a rocket, after thinking my DT-175 Enduro was the baddest bike around. It's also why it had a coffin shaped tank, because with that suspension it was always a near death experience.

I was doing a shakedown run on my WR tonight & damn if I forgot I needed to get a new turn signal relay..

Now I'm old enough to remember when they used to sell them at every corner gas station on Earth. But when I asked the cadet's behind the counter if they had them, I just got the deer in the headlights look.. uhhhh, a what???

I guess most vehicles don't use them up anymore.. or maybe I should post this in JoMamma

DAMN Nice night for a full moon ride though!

i was going to try to get a FULL MOON ride going tonite but i'm still sick, everyone seems to be outta the country, and i wasn't sure what the weather would be(you know you gotta start a post a week before the ride).

I didn't think we were gonna have this springtime surprise down here..
well, that and my bike's electrical wiring has proven not to be reliable for night excursions.

This should be really great weather for the crew in baja though!!

Great Ride!
we started out on Little-T to SCD to 3N17 to BPL (4N32) with 14 riders..
On BPL somewhere between the ranger station and 4N33 we misplaced 1 of the 4 KLR riders.. dreadfully sorry, I forget names quickly

about 140 miles for me today..
