All set....

I have a gps route set....344 miles from my door..... ...

For those who haven't been before...this ride is the reason the BMW GS was invented...the 9x0 Adventures will be very happy....150 mile range is not needed but if you have it...you need only to fill up at breakfast and at lunch....

Warm storm so not too worried about ice.

I don't know Carrizo too well, but I don't think we can get too lost

8:45 in Santa Paula Chevron would be great

From Reseda, I would prefer to ride up the 101. You can meet us at the Camarillo train station at 8:00. Lewis (CA Hwy 34) road exit turn right 1/2 block station parking lot is right under freeway.

Good Morning!

Drizzled most of the night, but has stopped now!

Titus Canyon is CLOSED as usual for me... Oh Wait Wrong Ride

Meet everyone still riding in Camarillo, except DTSB in Santa Paula I think.

I will call the Ojai Cafe to cancel the reservations.

The rest is up to us, the few, the hardy, the Marines... Can Do

8(H...home wrenching this morning, which i should have done last weekend. putting TKC's on the GS, and don't care if there's still 50% thread on it. i always think of sito, he didn't like the tires on the first ride, got rid of it the next day rather than wait for them to wear out.

also want to take this opp to take the 640A suspension to TT.

a half-ass prepped bike is ok if the ride is familiar and predictable. once you have unknowns in the picture, then i want to have a reliable equipment to deal with them (at least pschologically and nOOb mentality).

i think sometime today, the weather will turn out good for those heading out. we will all be in a way happy to see persistence paying off.

Yep... that is why I didn't ride today. New shoes for the SE and a little time checking it all out before next weekend.
