tires and carrizo

so far here's the count

140x18 908s: 4
130x18 606s: 1
120x18 606s: 5
130x17 606s: 3
90x21 908s: 1
90x21 606s: 12

total = 26 tires..... , if rob and dr can only join this mb, we will be in the 40 tires.....

you guys have to realize that you will wear out your rear in less than 2K miles and it will take another mass buy or maybe not to get a killer deal. getting a pair does not make sense for this price. i know, it's a $ issue, but if you can buy 2 sets, or 1 front and 2 rear...that will improve our chance in getting into this volume discount.

shipping is not included. these tires will be dropped off at a shop and i can pick them up from there but you have to get yours from my house. the dealer's identity to remain incognito.

all tires have to be prepaid by check..no paypal.

WTF joel. i'm IN !
what's the price if we get the numbers?

for those on the fence.... 606's are the only way to go.
they don't wear as quick as joel stated. of course depending on the way you ride, what terrain you ride, and how much slab you ride.

death valley tore mine up, but there were A LOT of sharp rocks out there.

and i will take 2 front 90x21 and 2 rear 130x17

Hi, I'm back. Sort of. Had health issues. Better now.

Anyway, new Alpinestars body armor arrived 5 minutes ago. Ready to ride again. Now when I fall...I'll bounce.

Question: What to wear over it? Take the armor out of my Joe Rocket touring jacket? What do you wear over your body armor? Winter? Summer?

Anyway, missed riding with you guys.

when it's cold, jacket without its armor, when it's hot, nothing. long sleeve under the armor.
some guys ride with motocross shirts over their armor.

get out and test yr gear!!!

Way Excited about this ride!

Not sure about the overnighter stuff yet (definitely tempted though But I am looking forward too a LONG day on the bike! Thinking about heading to the coast after Carizzo (and Pozo) and slabing back home.....

Yea, thanks. LOL. Hummmmm, riding for the entire day? Have a wife when I get home? Hummmmmmmmmmm.

What time are you meeting up???

Just kidding of course. Have a great ride. I'll stay tuned for the "shorter leashed" outings.
