So we both get in some advanced stuff, why don't we take turns leading the intermediate or advanced groups? I think everyone should do Mesquite to Burro Schmidt to Last Chance Canyon. If we keep a good enough pace to make Randsburg by 1030/1100, there will be plenty of time for everyone to do the second part from Randsburg to Mojave Brewery.

What do you think?

I've done Lytle Creek to Randsburg in under 3 hours, skipping Husky. Badly Mesa Rd-Koala Rd-Aster Rd-Kramer Junction-Pole Line Rd-Hoffman-Lockhart-Cuddeback Dry Lake-Hoffman-Randsburg.

That's why we need to split into two groups; Intermediate and advanced.

Skills training

Joel, and all those interested in improving skills,

I will host a late march/early April weekend camping out at spanger hills. The weather should be great for tent camping and I will bring enough cooking stuff so that those that want to ride out don't have to haul more that sleeping gear. It a great area to ride for all levels, if the trails get to nasty there is always a way around them, this way the group can do loops and not just ride around camp. I ride out there with a group of friends that have all taught their kids to ride in that area just because it is nOOb friendly.

That sounds good. I'd like to get out before DV and drill a bit too. Been on a few rides, but have'nt stopped long enough to practice tight turns, slow riding over obsticles, wheelies, sand/loose terrain, etc.

Sadly, I didn't even do anything exciting to damage myself......seems the riding (& just walking around) has aggravated my feet into producing bone spurs......

it's very frustrating, but not really a big deal

It's a big deal if you can't ride. Heal quickly.
