I have a hall pass for this coming Sat the 14th. I was thinking of more dirt then slab. Cleghorn to Arrowhead, Big bear maybe even Pioneer Town? If no interrest I may just do a long solo ride here in our local stomping grounds. SCD,Lynxs, Newcombs? If any one is looking to do a 8 hr. dirt ride let me know.

Sito, I remember you saying that if I ride the 640A to the Cedric Ride, you will join us. Well, it is going to be the 640A.

There will be 200 miles of lovely dirt in our route!

all ears here!

I'm willing to share my room with you at no charge, and there will be no sleep walking!

I was thinking of camping at Piru Creek at the crossing at the base of Alamo mountain. You can take a cool dip there and do some hiking along the creek.

I dont want to pull my trailer up to Lost Dutchman.

We will be in Pozo, north of HW166 and south of HW58, west of the 5 and east of HW101.

Why not finish the Sat ride by having dinner with us. Head home Sat morning, I'm sure the wife is still going through the shopping bags in the evening and she won't even notice if you're home.

Sounds like a nice spot to camp!

If there are naked 60 yr old women out there in the river, for sure M1Jeep and his partner Don (Jinx) will not miss this ride. These 2 guys are known for hanging out at the warm springs in DV surrounded by grannies.

I don’t think the Piru Creek will be good place for camping especially if there will be younger riders. It is outside of Hungry Valley Park and there are no facilities, to get on any trail you have to do some boring riding on graded or paved road which is limited to street legal bikes.
We usually stay at the Smith Forks campgrounds. It has shade, restrooms, Mini Track for the kids, the noobs can play all day long without repeating any section. The more advanced riders can enjoy one way single tracks of blue or black level and all this under 10 mile loops. For the ones that want the challenge Frazer Park can be accessed via Tejon Trail or East Frazer Trail (Blue level), which are very nice and fun trails.
All this can be done with green sticker bike or DS. I did some with my GS but it is not recommended.
My 2 cnts…

That's a nice spot for a dip for sure. Hopefully we can get spots before it gets too crowded.

DannyG makes some good points here. We can still go to the creek for a dip though.
