Those smaller bikes might fool you. In the right hands...

no muffler will bring bad things from the rangers!!! You should at least be spark arrested! You won't make any friends here if you burn the mountain down and close the roads for 4 years!!!!

I got back into dirt riding on an "OLD" RM250 that I had traded for labor quite a few years ago.. cool bike, but I was limited to riding areas where they (our government) didn't check for things like registration, green stickers, USFS spark arrestors and such..

When I got my (now) legal bike it opened up many new areas for me to ride and I never looked back!

I'm not sure what the ticket costs for no spark arrestor on your bike, but I'm pretty sure it costs alot more than a stock muffler. I'm just sayin!

I commuted for 3 years on a 50cc scooter. Need to get the "grocery getter" running again. I miss it.

It might cost us the right to ride up there. The public opinion is not exactly supportive of us these days and we could use every little help we can get. All we need is another article in LA Times about how reckless dirt bikers are.
I don't mean to preach but the fire danger there is real and people are still raw about last year's fires. Lots of brush up there growing now that's going to be ripe after the summer ends. Please consider getting a spark arrester at some point before fire season starts.

Neat bike tho. I bet I'd learn a lot more on that bike than on the big ones.

Looks like I'm gonna have to wait for another one. But I'll keep my eyes posted for next time.
