Joel, where did you find 243 ? I am about to open up my stator cover because I started hearing a ringing noise from there, and I found only 242 so far ?

another beautiful day got wasted.....

finally got my tax refund. i was in anaheim this morning, almost picked up a 640E with 900 miles. before i handed the money, i checked the engine # and does not match what's on the title. the owner was desperate to sell and lowered the price by $500. i didn't go for it though i should have.

i'll just wait for xymotic to get his 690E and test ride it.....

Not wasted. I was out testing my milage and ran in to Artboy and Davidbrow at the bottom of Little-T. They had just done Lunx and on their way home. I went looking for new turf and ended up riding SCD. The place was vacant.

I often pack a lunch or stop for a sub and eat at North Fork. Can't beat an afternoon of relaxing for the cost of a gallon of gas! May do it tomorrow.

No local places ? I want to open it up tomorrow because if its really one of those loose bolts the risk is too great to ride like that (I commute on it).

Not going to big bear, I don't think my tires can take any more dirt now maybe SCD once again at some point before they go completely bald. Plus I had a recent mishap and let's just say I would not bear to fall on my ass now...

mike we're lucky we have a place to hang out when it gets too hot here in the valley. one good news is when pacifico opens...we get the chance to ride all the way to newcombs on dirt (mostly) and have lunch....hmmmm the ortega burger...

The ribs are still sore so wanted to take an extra-slow day, ended up on Lynx and Davidbrow comes the other direction, so we did the Divide and ran into Mike near the Polo club. So Mike, where did the dirt end by the paintball place?

It turned out to be a long road to a cattle coral for Middle Ranch. False alarm.

Grounded 6-8 weeks

Looks like I'm grounded before I can even get started...
Broke my wrist yesterday ... before I could get my DRZ out on a weekend ride.

The way things have been going lately, and given my age, I think God is trying to tell me that my days of 2 wheel dualsport riding are about done.

That's not God talking. Must be someone else.

I think I read it here. "When I go to church on Sunday, I think about riding motorcycles. When I ride my motorcycle on Sunday, I think about God."

hey tripi, where in west LA are you? I'm in Redondo, my bikes out of commission for a while, but as soon as it's fixed we could ride out together. You gotta get up damned early to ride with these FF's.

Joel, you need to buy the 690 so I can test ride yours. Actually, now that I think about it... don't. better for me if I never see another one of those damned things again. They're like sirens calling me to the rocks...
