Danny, I got your PM and replied. Thanks for the offer.

Ok folks, while at Costco, I realized that burger is too much hustle to make. I bought 16 ciabatta bread, cheese (provolone), roast beef, salame, calabrese, etc. to make cold cut sandwiches. A dozen of muffins too for Saturday morning before the ride. Peanuts in the afternoon. If you want to contribute, bring chips, and your favorite beer. There will be plenty of bottled drinking water, especially for those riding in, we got you covered.

Not too late to decide if you want to join us. It should be fun. Don't worry if you're a noob, there will be a noob group ride, you may be lucky enough to get some teaching lessons from the other guys.

Noel will demonstrate how to steer with the rear wheel! Can't wait to see that!

Confirmed

Ok- I'm off the fence... and in! (For Saturady only)

What's the plan for Saturday?... morning loop, lunch and refuel, afternoon loop?
...would anyone like to ride the forest trails?

Unless I hear otherwise, I'll be there at 8am Sat.

h8chains - I am happy to chip in. I'm driving up in my truck, so I can bring anything that is needed.

Riding in on Friday, so can't bring much, but I have $$$ to contribute. Probably dump my crap and head back to Gorman for beer/booze after I arrive tomorrow.

Does anyone know if a Dakar can carry a keg?

morning loop will be Backbone trail to Vics trail to Badlands to Steer bones to Est Freeman to Homestead and back to camp
Will be nice worm up or

we can just go to 120 –8N24 – 121 – 122 back to camp for lunch. Most of this trail is up in the elevation so it will be cooler and for the after noon we can do my first suggestion, which is shorter and closer to camp….

Although I don't drink beer, but the other guys will surely appreciate.

If you have some firewood sitting there in your yard, that will be cool, if none, don't worry, I'll pick up some on the way.

Plan is meet at 8am. We split into 2 groups.

Dunerat or DannyG can lead one group to where ever you guys want. I can lead the 2nd group and will try to follow the first as far as we can, but we may decide to go on our own.

Both groups return to camp around noon for lunch break and some R&R.

In the afternoon, we expect to see Nowwhat and 86D, and do a similar run that the first group did in the morning. There could be a second group if the noobs are still breathing!

Return to camp before 8pm while still some daylight. Pack up and leave, and those who wants to stay over, you're can stay and share the b.s. around the campfire.

Noel, StuCazzo, Joel, DannyG, and DG bro are camping overnight. Sunday, is personal training for me. I plan to work on my cornering skills in the morning with the help of Noel (steer with the rear)!

I will bring a 6 gal of fuel for anyone who will be in need. The blackmarket price of course will be the prevailing rate if delivered to your bike.

So far we have the ff
Noel
Joel
Bongodave
Notmybike
Cathy
Cathy's Son
Cathy's daugther's bf
StuCazzo
Danny G
Danny's bro
C-Dubb?
Nowwhat
