The pics and video Nowwhat took are great. Just waiting now.....

Wrightwood/Glen Helen Ride

true to their words ....the guys(jim & tawnee and jon) showed up on time at our meet up place @ 7AM. riding big bikes make the trip smoother and faster.

it is obvious the super bright $65 hid headlight works great on jon's bike

jim's bmw feels at home on this kind of road; sorry no pics of the twisties

the only time jon took the 990 without seeing dirt, but hey........it's a dual sport bike regardless you have 908s....

we stopped briefly at newcomb's; too early to have breakfast so we moved on

next stop was at the just-opened gate to wrightwood on angeles crest. i'm facing west on this pic.... it's been a loooong wait for this to happen, and thanks to all taxpayers who made it happened.

this other gate to hw39 we hope will be next....

breakfast at wrightwood

nice little restaurant had a good country appeal and we decided to eat our breakfast here....turned out they have good food and the service was excellent..

though john did leave his house till 8:30am, he hauled ass and caught up with us in front of the restaurant right after we got off our bikes....

jon wasn't happy to see all the girlie interior decor in this restaurant...

foooooood pics...

what a lovely and beautiful couple....

i felt cheated when compared to last week's breakfast...........

last week's breakfast............

glen helen

we went through the wrong entrance and followed the cars, instead of the mc parking. then we were directed to get in, and it turned out great since we were able to park next to the vendors and exhibitors.....

but we still have to buy tickets to get in....

parked in the shade...

just a few steps away we're here

souvenirs.....

vendors from small booth

to giant booth............and a small bonus in blue for you FFs..

we went straight to the pits since we had little time left and they'll be closing by noon

of course, the first stop has to be orange

not only the bikes looked interesting
