keep in mind, the route i posted is a suggestion AND you can bail at anytime since we will be on a highway (Angeles Forest Hwy and Angeles Crest Hwy) or near one when on dirt.
Gas should NOT be an issue with well under 100 miles between meet up and Wrightwood.

(P.S. i edited the possible route after lunch, i meant to say Big Pine to Mt Emma, NOT 138, the signs say to the 138 on Big Pine and i mistaken that )

i'll post up a google earth here soon.

i knew i will be criticized for doing so, thought it will be funny. now i know lots of people still feel righteous, not just you but others too. my mistake thinking the adv site is tolerant of cheap humor.

need to be more careful, lots of critics everywhere....

funny, lots of good pics and only one got the most attention.....

How 'bout SCD all the way to Pioneertown. And back.

The first annual LA Weekend thread Rally.

Bring a powerbar or 2.

No harm done--she might have been flattered, as long as you appeared to be harmless

But next time, you might want to limit the cleavage shots to those ladies being paid to be there. Great ride report, by the way

Don't worry about it Joel. "F" them if they can't take a joke. That's my motto. Besides, some of us appreciate your "pervness".

Thumb Saturday

Weekend had been kinda hectic for me and didn't know when I would have time to break away. Ended up running away into Angeles Forest on the Big Scooter. Ran into Sgt Smoker and his wife at Newcomb's and we rode down to Wrightwood. I kept going till the 15 for gas and food, then made my way back via the same way I went. 200 Mile round trip!

Sgt Smoker and Wife

The New Bridge:

My return home via the San Andreas Fault Line

Gate is Open in Big Pines!

Another shot of the bridge:

Never thought I'd be able to take this picture!

Exactly 1 year prior:

We parked the bikes at the gate and hiked. It was so peaceful. Almost going to miss that.

The gate near Newcomb's:

Maybe next time I can actually plan a ride up there with others. :-)
