Joel, since you know a lot of ADV riders, maybe you can keep a SoCal carnage tally for us, so that we know how we're doing. The injuries can be categorized:
A. Sprains and Tweaks of Cartilage and Ligaments
B. Broken Bones
C. Concussions, Shock, Loss of Conciousness
D. Is there anything else?

This injury tally could include any rider that you know, or have ridden with at least once, and you can count the moto-injury even if it wasn't on an ADV event, or whether it occured on dirt or street. These kinds of statitstics might be illuminating and useful in some way. You can put me down for one ankle tweak from the crash on the Carrizo to Pozo trip last January . . .

That sucks Dude! You're probably just starting to feel good from the previous one.

Like Noel said, we had nothing to do with it

Joel, i don't know about a curse; but i think that if you kept a "carnage tally" and then posted it at some regular time interval (along with your little speech about staying in one piece to make mortgage payments, make love with wives, girlfriends, etc), i think that it might have the kind of effect that you tried to get across before. And if it doesn't, then at least you tried . . .

We need someone like you for this because you know a lot of ADV riders, and because we can count on you to take care of yourself and survive with the full use of all your body parts!
