jochen, welcome to the community....

shown below are what you need....a renazco seat and a fuel jug.
not necessarily you will need the extra fuel for local ride but it's good for future rides. xymotic has it all but the future rides went to a sudden halt...

I want to tank everyone for the warm welcome to this thread. I've been lurking for quite some time. Waaaay before I go the DRZ. Like I said I'll be good to go in a few weeks. I hope to meet everyone out there soon. This means you too ShooterDave.

One question, I have I've never been able to decipher what "FF" means. As in fmfpunk's quote "Firstly, welcome! Look forward to meeting another potential FF."

Meets you guys & gals out there soon.

You might be wrong. Mr. Chain Hater LOVES to take pictures of bikes on their side and Carnage.

He'd probably be the first one to tell you "it's only a little jump, I'm sure you'll make it if you just nail the gas"

I think we could have a lot of fun with a wing out there! Music blasting at the beer breaks! (the first one anyway)

What possible excuse can you offer the group for having a GL and not the KLR? KLR's have ridden around the world, surely they can go 170 miles?

Bring the Wing...

You can seek adventure with whatever you ride...

Here is the same picture that JohnGil posted in the locked gates thread, but I took this one.

I was on my other adventure bike...

I rode past the sign about 1/2 mile, and saw no reason I couldn't continue.
Looking up the road that I continued on, c'mon FS, if I can ride it on my HD, why is it closed???

...bitchin' motor runnin'...lookin' for adventure...

I know there is nothing on that road that I need protecting from.
Right now, it's the threat of a monetary fine that turns me away.
