My first ADV ride, that was on Sept 2007, and my first dirt bike!

I'm going to try to make this. If I'm not on time, don't wait, I'll catch up, or at at least try. Can someone provide location of where you'll be hitting the dirt. After that, I'll just follow Noel's empty beer cans. Not to worry though, I'll pick them along the way.

Late to the party

Sorry guys, I'm always late to the party.
Exactly when and where are you meeting this weekend?
Would like to join, if possible?

Thanks,
ThinAir

start on page 49 of this thread....you will see the following and more....see you there.....

Next ride will be on the 12th, Saturday morning, meet at 7-11 @ 7:30 AM near the Osborne Off-Ramp of the 210FW.

The plan is ride Tule Ridge to Sawmill and ends on Old Ridge Road in Castaic. As usual we'll take the scenic and twisty Little T to Sand Canyon, to Bouquet, Spunky, Green Valley, and San Francisquito.

Lunch will be a the Rock Inn, then continue to Sawmill....

It's about a 150 mile ride, half of it is dirt.

I strongly suggest that the fast riders bring your cameras cuz I would not be able to take action pics other than when you're at a stop, taking a break.

Rob and others who will be late, you may still able to catch up with us...wait for us at this junction (pay attention to the round concrete structure on your left, our bikes are facing the opposite direction since it's our 3rd break) ....... chances are we will head straight to Lake Hughes Rd, then turn around and stop again at this junction to go up on Tule Ridge (trail to your right). ..it's our 1st and 3rd stop.

If you really totally missed us, head to Rock Inn and we'll see you there, and as a penaly...you have to pay for our lunch

PM me if you want my cell phone #........Joel

Damn. I'll be at the frickin dentist while you guys are out having fun. If things go well, maybe I could catch up at the lunch stop for the Sawmill part.

looks as though I will now be on time for departure, but I have to leave early for a B-day party. I'll have to peel off around 1130-1200ish. Hope there's somewhere to do that, otherwise no lovin' from the little woman for a while
