have most of your had your forks done or done them yourself?

i could send my forks off across the country to race-tech or whatever but i would prefer to work with someone local.

That might work. I have a friend riding with his H.O.G. to Lake Elizabeth.....I think the place they are meeting is the Rock Inn. Anyways, there is a dirt road.....about 15 miles, that can get us that way....don't remember the name of it, but I do know its off of old Ridge Route.

jamin_mathis would like is looking for a ride too

Cool guys, I'll be there for certian then. I know it pretty well. I know exactly how to get to the Rock Inn by dirt. A little twisties inbetween too. But, who's complaining...........

I'm already thinking about the BBQ Pork Sandwich at the Rock. 2000 calories of grease, meat and sause (little peices of bone too sometimes as a bonus ). mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

See ya then. I ride a donkey, in the form of a Silver/Red KLR650. I'll be there. L8R

I've got visions of heading towards the Husky Memorial Sunday. Could get a 300 mile day if anyone is interested.

Carl's to the Rock Inn. Rock Inn to Cal City. Cal City to the Husky. Husky to Inscription Canyon. Inscription Canyon to Landers, then wander home by dark.

got out late at 9am, saw no-one at the 2 shell and on lynx but saw a couple of DS bikes on the way back down the crest. it was nice that it was a bit cooler than it has been, but still hot. just a short one today.

Sounds like Toast is in as well. We will be meeting @ McD's on Balboa north of Rinaldi between 0715 and 0730. From there we will be @ Carl's by 0800.

Fast food IS the devil. I plan on only having a little.

I realized after 29 years of riding/racing that as much as I love motorcycles I had only tolerated ridding the bikes that I have owned. , untill I bought my GS now I have a hard time getting off the ramp to go to work.
