low side crash

i had a fall on the 5th of august riding the canyons. tube got busted. my xchallenge proved very crush worthy. the only thing was damaged was my aftermarket windshield and a cracked foot peg. my bmw santiago jacket had a hole in the elbow area and pants just got dirty. If I did not wear a pressure suit I think I would get more than a shoulder fracture. i am officially out for the next 6 weeks.

14" for the scooter's rear tire, not sure what the XT225's rear tire is? But I think I'm just going to throw another Kenda 761 at it to keep me going since I'm using it mostly on pavement, just until I can afford to get the scooter back on the road - or sell it and buy my next bike. Then I'll go full dirt tires on the XT.

Kinda wish they would make 761s in 14" and 15". They've lasted me over 8,000 miles on the XT*!

*offroad performance not as great as it was when they where newer, obviously, but still sticky on pavement - and... uh... ice! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AANFgSKBfI0#t=1m45s

anyone who cannot go to KM riding this Sat am?

obviously i'm not trying to pull away from KM, but for those of us who cannot get away...

i plan on riding sat morning. if it's up to me i'll be at the shell at the 2 and 210 at 8 with the rest of the posers... or if there are others from 'up there' we can do the 7-11.

wes

NICE!

I may pick up a pair in the future when my existing leather pants wear out.

I need to work on the XR tonight and then start taking some rides up to PV to wear in the engine.
