Tule Ridge

After our 1st break, we headed west on 6N24 towards Lake Hughes Rd

Billy seeing in his mirror the oncoming orange rush and making room for them to pass

Dunerat picked his line and making the move

A familiar sight we see throughout the ride, the back of an orange bike

The life of a thumper, in the cloud of dust, Oni showing his feeling

Same shit, just a different bike....notmybikemodelname this time

Taquito was too far behind that he never saw a cloud of dust

Taquito riding in the park - h8chain style.........

Now it's me and I tried to be modest on the size of the pic.......

Just to find the rest of the FFs resting in the shade

More bike talk...........

Bruce, on the right, 2nd time out with us....another BRP rider

Nowwhat, true to his words...fullfilling his promise to Sito

The start of the Orange Parade

Of course, the Thumpers always have a place in our ride

From here on this is Rob...

John doesn't know yet what's coming ahead

Billy slides and doesn't bounce

Hanging out and waiting for the last rider

Awesome bikes....and the guys really know how to ride them, except for the 640A

and Marty had to go back to see if they need help

I see someone coming and a big dust behind

Billy is ok, who was it then?

Marty sweeping, Taquito's right turn signal dangles!

Taquito's ride is done, but we were glad he's ok, just a little bruised and shaken.

We continued our ride to 7N01

Didn't take long for me to eat shit. I went into this blind corner to hit deep sand.....lesson learned, if it's safe, enter the corner from the outside so you can see what's inside

I got these guys trained very well to wait for me at the junctions

Hmmm....unusual to see Marty on his butt

Bruce moving along

Oni, you will never make it to the X-Games with that style

The trail ahead

We made it to Rock Inn by 11 AM, and next thing you'll see is my 640A in the middle of shiny bikes and chrome

The other side of the parking lot didn't look as pretty

Awesome pics and ride report Joel; now I have some badass wallpapers for my work PC.

How many ibuprofens is too many in a day?!? My wife wants to know if I'm going riding again next weekend

Ordering Dunlop 606 tires, case savers, and a turn signal tonight or tomorrow...

Rock Inn

One of the best part of the ride is eating lunch at the Rock Inn, a well established hang out for bikers and a major landmark in the area.

The menu contains bike related advertisements

Do you see what you guys are missing?

Dunerat brought his dextrose pouch.....

After lunch, we filled up at the only gas station in town...only thing modern is the pump, the rest is still from the past, even the cost of gas is the 60s price

The "shade" is a valuable necessity in this ride

Trid and the Rock Inn in the background

Our fearless leader is not as slow as he portrays.

Thanks Joel for always putting some good rides together and the fun reports to read when we are done!

Sawmill

The second half of the ride is to do Sawmill to Liebre Mountain and end at Old Ridge Road

Here we go again............

Riceless will be bored on this trail

These guys love the shade

Marty started it all

Then followed by Trid, actually he had a bigger air, I shot it too soon

I give Billy a 6 on this one..

Nowwhat, I'm feeling generous, I give you a 3........

Dunerat gets a 9.........

Final installment tomorrow...
