Question

Gormon, there's a District 37 race up there, oh maybe that's next weekend.
Anyhow, where is the riding area exactly?

Question

Hmmm...never been up there in all my years here.
Is it a total offroad vehicle kinda place or is it foot trails and horse trails also?

Riding Sat - celebrating dad's b-day

Dad and me are riding this Sat 10/31 - we're going out to Johnson Valley - Anderson dry lake - off Camp Rock Rd. I will be trucking the bike/quad.

Anyone is welcome to join us - we should be out there by 8:30a and ride all day - then stop for some Mexican food in Hespreia on the way back.

We will be doing a couple of intermedite loops - med speed - 30-40 miles per loop.

Weather should be in the high 70's - Desert season is here.

Charlie

The Prospectors GP is this w/e at the Quail Valley area, but the course runs around 10 miles long and a good chunk of Gorman will be closed off.

The backside of Pronghorn, Cow and a portion of East Freeman will be closed for the GP.

There are still plenty of trails to ride, but the closed off ones are some of the better ones.

I was at Gorman this past Sat blasting around on my WR250, it was a little breezy, but we had a great time!

If you like single track, there's East Frazier trail up Frazier Mtn, but if you don't know the trails up there, you can get lost very quickly.

The map that's given out at the gate with the Nat Forest trails, is not that great.

With the shorter days you don't want to get stuck on the mtn, it'll be cold!
