Yeah, you might have went over that rock on foot, this photo from CollinsB shows exactly how far your bike got:

Not True!
I made it through the hard stuff and then stopped all jittery and exhausted and fell over.

One crash in that crap is epic for me, especially when you count the 5 miles of braille hill climbing we did. If I'd had some beer in the morning I'm pretty sure I coulda made it.

Don't forget to set aside a little time after Javi's ride for a scenic helicopter ride. Riding on the 6th can be "plan B"

I was just informed by the Wife that I have a free day on Dec 6 Sunday. I would like to put together a end of the year ride. I wanted to get a feel to see it their would be any interest and ideas from the LA Riders before I start a new thread. Trail Trick is doing an advanced ride Sat Dec 5 so I wanted to do a ride that would be somewhat difficult but would also have go arounds for the big bikes and intermediate / beginner riders.

What I'm thinking so far:

1. Pioneer Town (to add a twist on the way back we will go down deep creek) Others can go back the same route. (snow make close this idea)
2. Ransburg, lots of desert miles & sand!

3. Cal City to Husky Memorial. Don't know this area to well so I will need some help.

4. Rock Inn (The hard ways) by passes for big bikes and noobs.

What ever route we take it will be an all day ride. This will most likely be my last ride of the year so I want to make it a good one. please chime in soon, I would like to post up a new thread by Wed.

i vote #1. ive never been and i could visit my parents as they live 2 minutes from deep creek.

randsburg to the husky monument, id have to take the non plated wr450, no way im riding that dr650 over all those whoops!

same for cal city, green sticker please

12 Megapixels

8 Megapixels. Plus, No way am I taking the 'good' camera on the motorcycle, I might lose the lens cap or do some other damage to it.

You should be grateful I didn't snap a picture at the restaurant when you "released the beast" because you and I both know that would have resulted in you being drafted for many, many miniature lap dances at the Xmas Party.

Are you saying I eat too many Ho-Ho's, Ho? I'm sure I'll be plenty red from the amount of attention my lap gets sporting this belly/beard combo.

I know there are some great places to ride in Utah. Well what about some Idaho? Check this thread out if you get a chance. It's not a ride, but a string of rides by some dude. Pretty amazing.(4Tom) I may need another year or two though.

Apparently you have never rode with me when I'm on my "required" Javier ride bike.

I welcome the challenge. Who is the helicopter ride for? Oh, I forgot. I do arrive in my own sometimes.
