christmas day ride on the tw

i hope all you guys got your christmas present...

cuz, i got my wish...

after 2 months of rehab, finally able to ride again. so, i took the tw (the doctor's prescribed bike.. ) for a 150 mile ride today.

riding the slow tw can have good results too; what's left to do than look, so i look and took some interesting pics.

atop rose hills looking towards burbank

rode to griffith park and saw these guys. this is cool, the kid got his xmas present last night and rode it this morning

i need those training wheels...

got the chance to talk to his proud dad (steve), a rider himself and was happy to see his son doing good on his first ride

need to burn up the stabil in the tw, so i rode to agua dulce, all streets; next i found myself on sierra highway. the price of gas today.

i was looking for a dirt road and surely found one...

this restaurant is not too far from the rowher flats trailhead; i remember nowwhat bought us lunch here.

from another perspective

one unlucky coyote

do you see the holy mary?

ok, one more time..

tune in for more...

i was interested to see if the indian canyon trailhead was truly closed

i got to the parking lot where we normally wait for everyone. a sickass wasn't happy to see the sign and showed his feelings...

i picked up a knocked up sign and read what it's all about

a brand new gate and 2 huge rocks on both sides

the plan was to drop off some flowers on my mom's grave and go home; then i felt the power between my legs and the itch to keep on going...

i can't be happier.. and by end of feb, i will be ready

rode little t on the way home and the rush i got going around the corners was awesome; i slowed down, since i could not really afford another crash until the torn muscle is fully healed and the surrounding tissues have build up.

the theraphy surely is working great for me...

200 miles on a tw200. Seems fitting...

"felt the power" of a tw200. Nobody ever in the history of the world has said that. You know you're weird, right?

Joel, I'm so glad to see you out & doing a bit of riding,

& to all of you, a Merry Christmas & a wonderful holiday season...

I'm so grateful to have found such a terrific group to ride with, most especially to Joel, for making me think it was possible to ride with other people, even as nOObish as I was (& still am)

Hey Joel, I do that same loop all the time. Next time the doc tells you to hit the road again, give a shout. I'm always ready! TW and KLR are just about equal.
