Have any of you guys ever used one of these milling beds for a drill press? Is it any subsatushon for a real milling machine?

Never tried that but I just got a mill. Need something milled or are you looking to do alot of stuff. They are damn fun to play with. Might use it tomorrow for my tank bars.

I'm plaining to mill all kinds of stuff camera parts, bike parts, a tubing bender and other tools I may save up for one of those 3 in 1 machines like this one http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...temnumber=5980

Funny you should mention...I have not beenout riding a lot but have purchased a mill/drill a month ago and a 12x36 lathe last weekend. Built spools for mt RS50 last night and a laundry list of little things I want to make!!! I make a living with wood and play with metal!! Go figure?!?!

Let me know what you might need and I'll see if we can fit it in the schedule

Oh and no I have not used the above mentioned device!
