I left the guys after we ate at 1:30 pm. Earl and Brian (sorry if I mess up the name) got me back to my truck and loaded. I got out OK, but I did go straight to the ER here as my hip is extremely bruised and damn near useless.

1 CAT scan and a urine sample later, they pronounced me undamaged internally with a forecast of extreme discomfort.

Filled the prescriptions and now the 2 painkillers are kicking in.

Great ride inspite of my rocky fall.

Good to hear there's no internal issues.

No worries, I needed to get home by 6, so it all worked out as it was.

Here's a shot of Tim's wound.

Your 690 looks sweet! Man...stay away for a few months and you and Sito get new toys. I plan to get out a lot more in '10. With all the singletrack and hills...I'm gonna have to bring out the XR!

Hope you are feeling better Tim. Nasty looking bruise!

F I N A L L Y ! ! ! ! ! !

so yeah, 3 weeks late on this ride report.

sorry.

with the holidaze and lots of riding, i hadn't uploaded any pics until last week, even then i didn't have time to load it to my photobucket.

blah blah blah...

here's the report.

met up with tbarstow in San Dimas to load my bike.

it was a great day to ride, a little chilly in the AM but perfect for riding.

don't get lost, now just sign here

don't ask don't tell

you didn't reallt make it when someone has to help you

this is where the buddy system had a major major break down.
just prior to this ride , we had Sito get into a bad situation, then on this ride, after i was taking pictures of everyone on this hillclimb, and then xymotic got hurt, Ryan(?)(KLX300) and i rode up the hill and saw no one.
we had NO idea where everyone went. NO ONE was waiting at the top for us.
we come down and i just kept riding straight and was looking and looking for everyone but nothing.
so i looked on my GPS to find the best tracks over to XXX.
an hour later and tons of dead ends later, we got to the highway. Ryan KLX300 was outdated green sticker so we shouldn't have done the highway, but fuck it, we were hungry ! ! !

not much more pics after lunch.

rode fast back to the trucks and said our goodbyes and our merry xmas's and high fives ! !
