I've ridden Jawbone in the past and we usually did around 45-50 miles, but I'm not familiar with the gulch.

The WR250's range is around 70ish miles with a 3 gal tank. If we ride longer than that, I'll ride the XR650L.

I gotta look at out gps track and see what we did for mileage, I know it wasn't high, but I did have to hit reserve on the highway back to Jawbone. I think using the ol' 530 as a snow plow effected the mileage a bit. I'm usually good for 110-120.

I saw that sucker yesterday. The price is not bad too?? Unlike Nowhat I don't have commitment issues, The 690 feels like the best fit for my fat ass. I was able to keep up with all the small girlie bike on Sat ride. Once I get the suspension dialed in I will be good to go! I'm getting tired of sucking my lic plate in my back tire!

ummm....by keeping up.....do you mean after you picked the bike back up out of the rock pile...?....btw how's the elbow?....

Xymotic, if it all works out for me, I could pick you up at the 101 / 405 junction area. I'll scout out a good loading area near there. Tall truck, heavy bike requires the right spot.

Check your clutch cover gasket.

One of my buddies had his "rubber" clutch cover gasket fail on him while riding.

I keep a good eye on mine, so far so good.

the kids want to take the dirt bikes out, so they're going to take the hauler & bikes to Gorman Friday morning, probably camp at Circle or Cottonwood, I'll join them Friday night or Saturday morning & stay thru Sunday

I only fell because the guy in front of my was going to slow. The guy was on a smaller low powered girls bike, I had to pass him by way of the rock pile.

when I crashed my forearm took the hit, I was glad I had my gear on. I think I might have broken my forearm without my gear I had a big black and blue egg on the middle of my forearm in the morning.
