update for sat mojave

ok, I think those of you who are going out to mojave tomorrow (sat) should look at this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CkagVAtyv-M
and decide if your up to the task. Also there will be know doubt a few jeepers in the canyon, which we will have to be able to navigate around (with confidence). I have only just ridden out in that area, so I am not expert trail guide. I will however post a gps track of what I am going to try and hit on the ride. Also, if you have a friends of jawbone map "Brang It!". if not I think one can be purchased at the JB store or ranger station. Those with smaller gas tanks should figure out a way to carry some fuel, My track from last weekend shows we did roughly 75 miles, and I had to switch to reserve, don't know if snow plowing and the gulch killed my mileage? maybe.

My bike is ready, but I'm not, sorry to say. I've had a couple of those days where everything goes wrong, and I'm just not prepared for tomorrow. I'm not going to violate the ADV rule of carrying everything you need for a ride, so I'll have to wait for the next one. You guys have fun. I 4 wheeled that area last year, and it's awesome stuff.
