This may be a good ride for you to join. There will be another super noob (Jaynen) there, so the pace should be easy. As always...ride your own pace...the FF's will wait at every trail junction so you won't get lost.

Trailtrick (Javier) is a very good rider and can probably give you some good tips...if you can get him to slow down.

I have to work this weekend so I"m looking forward to Joel's ride report as always.

Wish I had time for breakfast. Probably a lot tastier than the Cliff bar or something that I will grab on my way to my first MSF riding session.

Oh. Just checked my tires and I have 23psi rear 17psi front. I haven't touched it since I got it from the dealer. Bike's on the TW301/302's would you recommend putting in any more air or equalizing the rear to 17 also? Or pumping the front up a bit if I am in danger of a pinchflat at that psi?

Okay, I figured out which bike to ride...now what jacket shall it be. Does it have to match my boots? Noob's have so many things to think about! Girl friend already squirrel $100 bucks out of me so she can go to the beach. I guess it would be 200 if I was married!

I don't have to figure out what bike to ride, only got 1 plated, but.....dirt gear, street gear??

No it doesn't have to match your boots

I'm wearing my MX boots, pants, knee/shin guards, helmet, goggles. But considering wearing my street mesh jacket? But I am torn because I like the impact protection of my MX body armor, but on the ride up there I would hate to not have the abrasion protection on the pavement.

I actually wore both earlier today body armor under the street jacket. But my shoulders felt like I was an NFL lineman

I was thinking along the same lines myself....

I'm glad to see I'm not just being a girl wondering what to wear...
