Yeah I know its probably a bit anal but I just don't want to be caught out without the right protective gear when I have spent the money on both :)

After I was on the bike I was not that uncomfortable earlier today so maybe I will just wear both again until I get to SCD then Ill remove the street jacket and put it in my bags.

I'm normally a photo hound but I have discovered with being a super noob I am always in the back which doesn't give me time to take photo's by the time I catch up everyone is ready to leave!

I usually trade jacket for pressure suit when we get to dirt if it's getting hot (and it will tomorrow!) Bring plenty of water along. We usually cool off in a couple water crossings, but it looks like Joel spared you guys THIS time! Welcome to the group. I'll be the slow one back with Joel! (sorry Joel!)

Will be great to meet you guys. Wish I had done this months ago, of course I'll be moving to SD right after this which will make the weekend rides harder for me unless I'm up visiting family.

i was dropping off my roommate at the Burbank Airport around 6:15ish am and saw some FF on a KTM ridind towards the hills loaded up.
was it one of you FFs?

Got home 3:30, this was the most expensive ride I ever had. Hate you Artboy....

....I stop by a store to get an inner tube to replace the one I sold to the poor KTM 950 rider stuck in the parking lot off AFH with a pinch tube, sooooo, I ended up getting knee braces after having the looooooong discussion

at Newcombs.

Uploading the pics, mostly so so, but got some interesting ones.

It was a pleasure seeing Jaynen survive and got his bike dusty. Hope he made it to his MSF school. Sorry Jason, my fault, owe you a few sweep.

Same with Sopascat, glad to see you on the trail. Hope to see you more.

reBarman and RRuuger good to have more cool guys in the community. Easy ride and nice lunch. Of course, the regulars like artboy, lepermasia, and sawzall rob were there too, to speed up the pace

7:30am at the usual place, 8 riders total and waiting for the 2 that no sho
