Me and my buddy from work did the Oct ride route; Lake Hughes Rd to the trailhead, Rock Inn for lunch, then Sawmill to the old Ridge Route and home.

We rode a total of 190 miles, and we had a great time! The views and scenery were spectacular, but it was breezy and on the cool side.

The trails were in acceptable condition and we made 4 water crossings right after the trail head, the water in one crossing was much deeper than the rest.

We saw at least a dozen Can Am 3 wheelers outside of Rock Inn, that must be the new in toy for the Harley crowd.

after a week in panamint/death valley in the dirt and rocks we took the street bikes out yesterday. so the r1200r and f650gs went from the osborne 7-11 around 11am all the way across little tujunga/sand canyon to the 14, then up the 5 to gorman, across frazier mnt and down lockwood valley to the 33 to ojai. there was some flooding on lockwood valley but nothing too bad...

after late lunch in ojai we blasted back to the 126 via santa paula and home on the 5/210. it was a nice ride but my hands are swollen from so much dirt last week, it didn't exactly help!

don't we live in a great part of the world? (for riding anyway!)

I thought I was the only one who carried a photo of Joel in my wallet. Do you feel the love Joel?
