Great day and nice company. I thought I had enough gas for the whole run, but I got half way down the Crest and the engine quit. Sopascat pulled up behind, I had leaned the bike over to get the last drippings over to the petcock side, and got just enough to get to the gas station at the bottom! Turned out Sopascat was on fumes too, so it worked out perfect.I'll have to find a new sprocket and chain this week. Which braces did you get, Joel? Your knees will thank you!

surprised out of gas!, your sprocket was so worn out that the chain is just spinning around everytime you gassed it.

the truth is after we started adding Pacifico to our rides, that put us on the limits of our gas tanks. normally in the past, without pacifico, i use 2 gals, but yesterday it was more like 3 gals.

i've been wanting the asterisk but after i tried on the pod mx, i can tell it's what i want....riding faster...not sure, but this will help me stay on the pegs longer.

http://www.podmx.com.au/en/pages/products/mx_brace.htm

i believe you now and others who tried to convince me to get knee braces. next will be the neck brace...

I'm still not sure about kneebraces, I've worn pads/guards always but the braces I have heard mixed things about. A neck brace is probably in my future but its always hard to put money towards more of those types of things instead of into something more "fun" of course additional safety is always desirable.

Of course I am still "young" at least as far as our group saturday went and can maybe recover better from injury.

Even with 60 bucks off 250 a leg is a lot of dough!

I start the job in SD this week so no weekday ride for me now :(

So nice to see the RRs. I miss it, but have to wait, due to some money issues and some needed parts. Late August, or maybe Sept., looks like.

Looks like everybody had a great time, tho, and that's the point of it all.

Like I tell the n00bs; the better you get, the better IT gets!

And, great report, as always, Joel. I it!
