Welcome Spawn_x, I doing a ride tomorrow in Angeles (the part west of Rowher flats) I don't know the area very well but I thought I'd check it out.

I am less than 10 miles from 5N13.1 which leads to Rowher. Just one problem.. The USPS has not dropped off my sprockets yet.. So I have fresh tires, front brakes, skid plates and chain.. but wont be putting the rear wheel back on until the sprockets get here! I guess I am almost trail ready.

If your sprockets get here in time I think Klammer is thinking about a Friday ride at rowher and I may go as well I just need to figure out if I got to work that day.

Wicked we have a local ride..

just throwing a date....april 17th (saturday)

8am departure time @ 7-11

little t

rowher flats @ 9am

tule @ 11 am

rock inn - 1 hour lunch

sawmill @ 2 pm, then to old ridge road

this group needs to move on a med to fast pace so we can make it back with some daylight.

we can divide the group into 2 if there are more than 12 riders. at rowher, split the advanced and the intermediate riders.

Sounds good Joel, I am interested! Just have wait and see if I'll have the time that Saturday.

I'd like to ride the San Bernardino NF in May, just throwing it out there.

camping at holcomb is more primitive than serrano. though over the years, i prefer holcomb than anywhere else in big bear. the trail is right outside the camp, and anyone can go in all directions and find a dirt road. best of all, it's away from pesky motorhomes....
